We are looking forward to having you with us for Bishop Rosie S. O’neal’s Pastoral Retirement Celebration, December 12th–14th. Bishop is excited to celebrate with you as she steps into this new chapter of her life. Below you’ll find FAQs and important details to help you prepare and enjoy the weekend. 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The celebration will take place December 12–14 at the Greenville Convention Center. All weekend events will be held on-site. The address is 303 Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, NC 27834.

  • No physical or digital confirmation is required.

    Upon arrival at the Greenville Convention Center, our Special Guest Team Members will greet you and escort you to the dedicated Special Guest Check-In area. They will verify your name and ensure you are guided exactly where you need to be.

    • Friday: Casual

    • Saturday: Casual

    • Sunday: Church attire

    • Friday: Worship Encounter with Bishop SY Younger & Guest Psalmist Pastor Michael Lampkin — 7:00 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM)

    • Saturday: Good Life Party — 11:00 AM–3:00 PM (Comedy set featuring Tim Shropshire at 1:30 PM)

    • Sunday: Worship Encounter & Birthday Celebration with Aposlte IV Hilliard — 10:00 AM

    • Food & beverages available for purchase from local vendors

    • Complimentary dessert bar

    • Games, cards, inflatables

    • Special RSO attractions

    • Outdoor train ride with complimentary hot chocolate

    • And more!

  • Yes – Friday and Sunday services will be streamed on YouTube & Facebook. Feel free to share the encounter online via social media and use the hashtag #RSORetirement 

  • During Friday’s Worship Encounter, we will have a Special Time of Giving.
    Please take a moment to view a personal message from Pastor Trev for more details on how you can participate and be a blessing during this historic celebration.

  • Special Guest parking will be located behind the Hilton Hotel, directly across from the side entrance of the Greenville Convention Center. Parking is first come, first served and will be held until 6:30 PM

  • After parking:

    1. Enter through the side doors of GCC

    2. A Special Guest Team Member will greet you

    3. You will be checked in

    4. You may:

      • Visit the Pre-Service Mixer, or

      • Go directly to the reserved seating area

  • A warm, welcoming experience exclusively for Special Guests including light refreshments before the worship encounter. 
    Our Team will:

    • Direct you to check-in

    • Escort you to the Refreshment Lounge (optional)

    • Assist you with direct seating if preferred

    • Opens: 5:45 PM

    • Closes: 6:45 PM

    At 6:40 PM, all guests will begin moving to their seats to ensure they are seated in their designated area when worship begins promptly at 7:00 PM.

  • Each Special Guest is welcome to bring one additional guest to be seated with them. This ensures that all of our valued guests can enjoy the designated seating area together. If you’ve RSVP’d for more than one guest, we’ll do our best to make everyone feel comfortable, and our Guest Team will help guide the rest your party to the best available seating nearby.

Experience powerful teachings, soul-stirring music, and a night filled with connection, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. The event kicks off at 7:00 PM—arrive early and get ready for an electrifying night that will leave you inspired and uplifted. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience!

Be a part of a day bursting with joy, excitement, and connection at the Celebrating the Good Life Party! Plus, prepare for a lot of laughs as we feature the hilarious comedian, Timothy Shropshire at 1:30 pm. Bring your friends and family to celebrate Bishop from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
