FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Walk for Sickle Cell Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather
Koinonia (Coin-a-neya) Christian Center Church, KCC, is cancelling their 5K Run/Walk for Sickle Cell on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the City Hotel and Bistro, due to the smoky conditions caused by the Evans Road Wild Fire. The event is rescheduled for July 12, 2008 and the location will be announced at a later date. The church will be open on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m. to answer questions, and distribute t-shirts and water bottles to participants.
