SALVATION: A GIFT FROM GOD TO YOU
Today more than ever people are searching for answers to questions, solutions for problems, and some kind of hope for the future. Jesus Christ is the answer, solution, and hope for any problem that you may face. The Bible reminds us that every human being has sinned and failed God (Romans 6:23). The only way to Heaven and therefore eternal life is through Jesus.
Within our souls there is place that only God’s love can fill. This longing cannot be filled by the pleasures of the world, or the company of good friends. You can never know enough, give enough, or do enough to fill the place in your life that was created only for God to fill. God longs to be your father, your provider, your best friend. He feels your hurts, and He longs to bear your burdens. The Bible tells us in John 3:16 that God loved the world so much, that he gave his only son to die for us. No love on earth can compare to a love so powerful, so pure, and so unconditional.
If you believe you are a sinner, and in need of a Savior, how do you receive God’s gift of salvation? Actually, it is very easy. If you believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). By believing that God gave his son, Jesus, to die for you, and by confessing that you accept God’s gift of salvation through His son, you become a part of God’s family. Below is a prayer that you can say to receive the salvation of God through his son, Jesus. Say this prayer aloud, and as you speak believe that the words you speak are changing the course of your life forever. Once you have prayed this prayer, call a friend, contact your local church or email us (info@kccfamily.com) so we can partake in this joyous celebration. As a child of God it is important that you begin to fellowship with other believers, and continue the process of growing in the things of God. The most important decision you can make in your life, is the decision of eternal life.
“Jesus, I ask you to come into my life. I am a sinner, and I want to stop living my life under my own control. Come now and live your life in me. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. Cleanse me from my sins. I believe that you rose again from the grave, that I may also live a new life apart from my old lifestyle. I receive you as my Lord and my Savior. I will live for you all the days of my life. Amen.”
