The purpose of this ministry is to support the vision of KCC by sustaining the preservation, creation, and transmission of knowledge, and to service KCC staff and ministries by guiding the ongoing development and evolution of computer and information technology.

 

Information Technology Team Member Duties:

• Create, maintain and/or implement all user network accounts and group policies. Protect infrastructure by implementing the latest security measures
• Service network related requests based on priority
• Ensure the network is secure from internal and external parties
• Conduct regular baselines of network to ensure proper operation
• Conduct backups and restorations
• Troubleshoot computer and network errors
• Facilitate hardware and software modifications
• Maintain technology equipment inventory
• Create/Present annual action plan for future technology needs
• Coordinate technical outsourcing
• Service other ministries software/hardware/programming needs

Training:

All committed members are welcome with intermediate/expert knowledge of the following subjects:

• Networking
• Database Management
• Computer Programming
